Site status: a one-page WordPress site with minimal organic traffic (4 users per month), no internal and external optimization.
Objective: Increase organic traffic from Google, company (brand) awareness, and the number of applications on the website.
What we did
We developed a technical specification for the creation of a full-fledged (multi-page) website on Wordpress.
The Semantic Core was collected and clustered.
An expanded site structure was developed:
category and subcategory pages were created (separate landing pages for each type of scrap metal).
a separate page for "Scrap metal acceptance in Zaporizhzhia" was created (as the company provides services to 2 cities, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia).
The structure of content presentation on the pages of categories and subcategories (texts, conversion forms, price tables) was developed.
A blog section was created.
The structure of content presentation on the pages of articles (text, conversion forms, micro-markup for articles) was developed.
Effective internal linking was implemented.
Based on the developed structure, we created the terms of reference for new pages (categories and subcategories).
We wrote relevant content for the category and subcategory pages based on the semantic core.
We conducted a link audit of the website and competitors.
A strategy was developed to increase the link mass with the help of links: outreach links, crowd, local SEO (registration in regional directories).
Results of the work
Since the start of the promotion, the number of keywords used to rank the site in search results has increased by more than 6500 words:

The organic channel accounts for 36.1% of the total website traffic.
Direct conversions also account for 49.2% of traffic. The development of branded traffic and the company's recognition was directly influenced by SEO promotion.

Increasing the link mass
The site's link strategy was aimed at obtaining links from high-quality sites with high search engine trust scores (DR) and high monthly organic traffic.
Different types of links were used to promote the site:
crowd links;
perpetual/outreach links;
links from regional directories.
The links led to both the main page and the pages of categories and subcategories. We used both anchor and nofollow links to make the profile as natural as possible.
In the process of optimization, we received:

Conclusion about the project
The purpose of the website is to sell the services provided by the company. The peculiarity and advantage of the project was the availability of a mobile scrap metal collection point, as well as the dismantling of metal structures. These advantages were reflected in the development of the landing page structure and content presentation.
The main component of the content promotion strategy is to expand the structure (create a full-fledged multi-page site) and fill new landing pages (categories and subcategories) with quality content. It was the pages that brought most of the traffic to the site.


It was also decided to write blog articles for micro- and low-frequency queries so that the articles would cover LF (low-frequency) and informational queries. By low-frequency queries, we mean commercial queries with low frequency, for which it is impractical to create subcategories. Through conversion blocks on the pages of articles, low-frequency queries bring not only traffic but also applications.

In addition to publishing new content on the blog from month to month, work was also done to further optimize the already published content on the site and improve the positions of the site's pages through an effective linking strategy.
All the work done has led to a significant increase in the project's rankings in search results:
growth of organic traffic from 4 to 2,672 users per month;
the number of keywords has increased by more than 6500 words since the start of promotion;
website visibility increased from 0 to 0.41;
the number of applications from the website increased by 67%.
