About the Client

Autodominicana is a car rental service operating across the Dominican Republic, serving both tourists and locals. Before contacting Idea Digital, the client had a simple WordPress website with a basic booking form. All requests were processed manually, with no system for managing vehicle availability or pricing.


Client Request

The client approached us with a goal to completely digitize their business:

  • automate bookings and vehicle fleet management;

  • reduce manual workload for managers;

  • improve UX for international users;

  • implement dynamic pricing based on season and rental duration;

  • prepare the platform for aggressive SEO growth;

  • add multilingual support to reach more markets.


What we did

1. Custom CRM System

We built a full-featured internal CRM to manage operations:

  • Real-time vehicle availability tracking

  • Dynamic pricing logic:

    • based on high/low season;

    • based on the number of rental days.

  • Insurance module with several coverage types (CDW, SCDW, etc.) that automatically affect the deposit amount.

  • Automated notifications via SMS and WhatsApp (booking confirmations, reminders, instructions).

  • Online payments integrated directly into the website, reducing friction and human error.

2. New Website Focused on UX & SEO

  • Preserved the old site structure (to retain SEO rankings).

  • Expanded functionality with:

    • advanced filters by vehicle class, city, airport, price range, and rental duration;

    • SEO-friendly URLs and metadata.

  • Achieved PageSpeed Mobile Score: 99/100

  • Fully responsive with a mobile-first approach.

3. Multilingual Functionality

We implemented full multilingual support:

  • Available in English, Spanish, and French

  • Correct hreflang tags and URL localization

  • All content managed centrally from the admin panel

4. Design

We designed a minimalist, functional interface that:

  • keeps the focus on booking, not visual clutter;

  • is intuitive and trustworthy for international users;

  • works flawlessly across devices;
